As I stepped into the tavern, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes enveloped me, sparking my anticipation. The menu showcases a tantalizing selection of snacks and sides. I couldn't resist starting with the Deviled Eggs, perfectly cooked and topped with Dings pickle relish—a delightful twist on a classic. Paired with the DIP DUO of jalapeno queso and guacamole, served with crunchy tortilla chips, it's an appetizer that sets the tone for an enjoyable meal.
When it came to the main course, the Honor Burger stole the show. Each bite of the fresh ground chuck layered with creamy white cheddar, juicy tomato, and spicy slaw was a symphony of flavors. Guests rave about the crispy Gulf Coast Style Fish Sandwich as well, highlighting the freshness of the catch and the satisfying crunch that makes it a standout choice on the menu.
The atmosphere is equally impressive, with a comfortable indoor setting and a charming patio that allows diners to soak in the stunning village views. Whether you're unwinding after a day on the slopes or enjoying a summer afternoon, the outdoor seating enhances the experience remarkably.

Really great spot in downtown Aspen. We came by on a Thursday afternoon in the summer, and only had to wait a couple mins for an outside table. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Chicken sandwich was delicious and all the ingredients really put the sandwich together. The deviled eggs was really great, cooked perfect. Salad was also excellent.

This is spot was our 2nd choice to eat and glad we ended up here. They accommodated our party of 6 and the service was great. We ordered the chicken sandwich ( I recommend) Along with fries and brussels sprouts that also hit the taste buds right. The spot is small inside but they also have patio outdoor seating with the village view. Great spot with great food

One of my best friends taught me you never listen to kids on the mountain & never call your last run. It's always bad luck. This was my first experience at @aspensnowmass, & I went out to hit the mountain bike park first, not the legendary bougie food & booze. It was my second time on a gondola half-way & first time in three seat wide Colorado chair lift to the very top. When I get off I couldn't see the greens, so I asked patrol where they were? His response, "dude, they are one level down, only blues & blacks up here!" Damn! Then this kid in full fox gear comes by, recommends the "French Press" blue saying it's a flowy-freeride, whatever that meant, & says it should be a green. I had two choices, I could man up & send it, or take the lift in fear back down. Fuck it. I sent it. Winding through the soft dirt surrounded by endless gorgeous white aspen trees at higher and higher speeds made my heart burst with excitement. You could hear me screaming with joy as I road through the banks, not getting off the bike a single time as I cut and cornered each segment with better skill than before. It was the soul cleansing I desperately needed. There and back in a single day was a bit much, but that's me. It was the best park I've experienced so far, and can't wait to go back. Did I crash? Unfortunately, yes, my damn cleats got me again! Did I feast? There was no way I was hitting Aspen without a celebratory burger and beer. I had to check out the legendary Whitehouse Tavern for their burger and deviled eggs. The burger, perfectly cooked, and one of the most unique and tasty set of eggs I've ever had capped off this epic day! I will be back! P.S. The jar of pills is full of Advil and Aleeve. The perfect combination for all the pain that fitness causes, and the joy of the reward after.

I recently dined at White House Tavern and had a mixed experience. We started with the deviled eggs, but were puzzled when they served us three slices for two people--how does that make sense? Portioning aside, the flavor was decent. For the mains, we ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which really hit home with some comforting nostalgia. The fish sandwich was also high quality, with fresh-tasting fish, though the slaw was on the dry side. Prices were fair given the area, which was a plus. However, it was noticeably hot inside for some reason, which made it a bit uncomfortable to fully enjoy the meal. Overall, some ups and downs, but the food was solid.

Eva is so kind and sweet. Very accommodating and helpful. Customer Service (Morgan) is excellent from check in follow up and follow through. Chips Duo is superb, Burger was fantastic and the Kale Salads were unbelievable

Small but classy and the staff and food are amazing. Very busy and you should reserve a spot or you will have a long wait for lunch or supper. Celebrity sighting for us, we sat next to Steve Aoki the famous DJ. He is a very nice man and was accommodating to all the young people who wanted a selfie.

Living in Orlando, this is a sister restaurant of Hillstone. It's one of the best burgers you are going to find anywhere and the chicken sandwich is crispy and delicious. With a small menu, all the ingredients are so fresh and the quality is consistent. Wasn't a big fan of the Brussels with the amount of lemon aioli and next time would start with the deviled eggs which are elite here!! Still wanted to highlight incase guests prefer more boiled over crispier Brussels. Note they do not take reservations so make sure to put your name in early as the restaurant is very small maybe only 15-25 tables and the wait times can get very long. Bar is open seating.

Was on a bachelorette trip this past weekend in Aspen and White House tavern is a must. Being from LA, the hillstone collection of restaurants from Honor Bar to Houston's have always been a safe bet and great time. My party of seven shared two orders of the kale salad with chicken (a must) along with two orders of the dip duo to share. I split the honor burger and the crispy chicken sandwich. The crispy chicken sandwich may be my death row meal. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a solid not overpriced meal in Aspen.

It was a nice surprise! Restaurant located at the corner of downtown aspen. Venue was small and cozy. The wait time was about one hour. To my surprise, wait time end up being 30 minutes as people we're canceling their reservations. The host was awesome! We more people coming and he was able to make to work on top of that, gave us outdoor seating! It was the perfect view looking at the mountains. Here's what we ordered::: Beef Au jus sandwich- delicious!! Served with savory Au jus sauce. Bread was nice and soft. Favorite dish! Trout dip- nice surprise! First time trying smoked trout especially in a dip. Chicken kale salad- great! Chicken tender and fresh kale mix in dressing. Chicken sandwich- deep fried chicken was thick. Definitely can share this dish. Cream of corn- the jalapeños was a nice touch! Definitely unique. Fries- standard All and all, we had a fantastic experience and service was excellent! Highly recommended!
